Four IT Tralee students studying Interactive Multimedia and Music Technology joined together in a group to produce a short film that raises awareness about ‘Body Dysmorphic Disorder’ for their FYP which they called ‘Perspective‘ which is linked below.
I heard that they were looking for someone to play the part of “Anna“, a young woman who suffers with BDD. I have an interest in acting, yet actually doing it? Makes me feel silly and nervous, yet I thoroughly enjoy it. I was intrigued by the story-line of the film, so I was interested in part taking if possible.
Being part of the filming of this project was an enjoyable experience. I watched the film a few days ago at the IT Tralee Creative Media Department FYP Exhibition. I enjoyed seeing it as a finished product, I was highly impressed by the students skills to create this and see very bright futures ahead of them.
